Trip Introduction

The Bhutan Kingdom blissfully untouched Bhutanese people are driven by their respect for the tantric strain of Mahayana Buddhism. The Bhutanese people have been able to protect this sacred heritage and a unique identity for centuries by choosing to remain shrouded in a jealously guarded isolation.Bhutan a heavenly abode in the heart of the vast Himalayan but little known to the outside just being wedged between giant neighbors and secluded by some of the high mountain range. 

  • Day 2 | Thimphu Sightseeing. (B)

    Breakfast at the hotel. visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here, Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

  • Day 3 | Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing (77 km, 3 hours).(B)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Punakha / Wangdue, On the way, stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts) to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha and check-in at the hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short excursion trip to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Later visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.

  • Day 4 | Punakha/Wangdue – Paro Sightseeing (140 km / 5 hour).(B)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.). visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Paro Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. check-in hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.

  • Day 5 | Paro Sightseeing. (B)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger's Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp) & Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay will be at Paro.

Required Documents For Visa Processing


  • All visitors to Bhutan must have a visa approved prior to arriving in the kingdom.
  • Those who have not had a visa approved will not be permitted to board their Druk Air flight to Bhutan.
  • A two-week visa costs US$50/- + USD 10/- Tourism Tax and actual visa stamping in your passport at Paro Airport during the immigration process.
  • Visas are approved and issued prior to entry, with the prepayment of your travel itinerary.
  • Therefore visitors to Bhutan need to finalize their travel plans well in advance. We recommend 30 days.
  • Rooms are provided as per subject to availability.
  • Guarantee Deposit may be required at the hotel while check-in hotel as per hotel policy.
  • Additional charges will be applicable during major Exhibition and Event dates
  • Airlines Seat and Hotel Room Reservation cannot be made until we receive the confirmation.
  • Relation certificate is needed if you are traveling with your family.

  • 50% Cancellation charges will apply if booking cancelled between 7 to 15 days prior to arrival.
  • 100% Cancellation charges will apply if booking cancelled within 03 days prior to arrival.
  • 100% Charges will apply for No-show & Early departure bookings.
  •  No refund will be provided for early departures by guests own wish.
