Trip Introduction

The tour takes you to the exploration of natural beauties and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour focal point of attraction is the experience of the mesmerizing views of the sunrise and Himalayas. The place is also the paradise for the photographers. The time you pass by the ethnic villages takes back to the memories of the 90s. On the day of arrival you might feel coziness or congested during transfer to the hotel. But your uncomfortable won't last long after you do sightseeing of 3 UNESCO Heritages sites at the Kathmandu. And the scenic view of the hills, mountains and the river flowing alongside the highway during your transfer to Pokhara will make if it was. You will accommodate at Pokhara before the day and after returning from the trek. One will enjoy the nightlife and the city. The trek strat from Nayapul, ascending to Ulleri. During trek one will stay at the guest house. The trek is best for their family and kids in the rural mountainside with up-close Himalayan views. Trek through the rhododendron forests that bloom with red flowers during the springtime, descending down to Birethanti, and passing by waterfalls and a few small villages and settlements will be a thrilling experience. We walk further to Naya Pul and then drive to Pokhara which marks the end of this marvelous trek.

  • Day 01 | Arrival at Kathmandu

    Upon our arrival in the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative of MD Adventure Travel and Tours and drop to the hotel for check in. You wil be given welcome drinks by the hotel upon arrival and during the formal formalities of the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 02 | Full day sightseeing

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up from the hotel for your full day sightseeing: Pashupatinath temple, famous and sacred Hindu temple complex that is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. The temple was listed on World Heritage Sites list in 1979. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a "sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati River" and is included as one of the seven monument groups in UNESCO's designation of Kathmandu Valley as visit here. It was built on 5th century by Lichchavi King Prachanda Dev. Bhatt and Bhandari priest performs the daily rituals. Boudhanath stupa, located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. On 1979, Boudha Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along with Swayambhu, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area. The stupa used to be where the Narayanhiti Musuem is at presently. As per the astrologers, only one with the battis gun was supposed to be sacrificed. While prince was only the one with such quality so, the king sacrificed the hen. The stupa at present is the place where the hen's head was fallen. After refreshment drive for sightseeing of: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, also known as Khwopa, which lies 13 km east of Kathmandu. While the complex consists of at least four distinct squares (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square), the whole area is informally known as the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and is a highly visited site in the Kathmandu Valley. Nge Nyapa Jhya Laaykoo (55 window palace), Statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Nyatapola Temple, Lun Dhwākhā (Golden Gate), Lion's Gate, Mini Pashupati Temple and Bhairava Nath Temple are the major attraction of the square. The Durbar square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several countries. The royal palace was originally situated at Dattaraya square and was only later moved to the Durbar Square location. Return back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 03 | Drive to Pokhara (200km/5-6hrs)

    After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara 200 Kms/ 6 – 7 hours drive on a private vehicle. You will witness the scenic drive on the way to Pokhara with the Trisuli river flowing along side the highway. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. At the evening time, one can stroll around the Phewa lake and the city. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 04 | Morning drive to Sarangkot. Later drive to Nayapul (30 minutes). Trek to Tikhedhunga (5,170 feet / 1,570 m)

    Early morning we will drive to Sarangkot for the mesmerizing view of sunrise over the majestic Himalayas. Drive back to the hotel for your breakfast, and ready for the drive to Nayapul. We will walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015 m), a large village with many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495 m. After a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1,570 m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region. Stay overnight the tea house/lodges. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 05 | Trek to Ghorepani (2,840 m /9,318 feet)

    After breakfast, we will trek to Ulleri a Magar village (2070m). A gentle ascend will lead you through forests of oak and rhododendrons, towards Banthanti at 2,250 m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2,460 m. After an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2,840 m). Stay overnight the tea house/lodges. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 06 | Morning trek to Poonhill . Later trek to Tadapani (2,610 m/8,562 feet)

    Early morning hike to Poonhill (3200m) for the scenic view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. We will spend 1 hour and return back to the Ghorepani for breakfast. Then we make a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests, towards Deurali (2,960 m). After that, we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani. Stay overnight the tea house/lodges. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 07 | Trek to Ghandruk (1940 m/6365 ft)

    After breakfast, we will descent through the dense and dark forest of rhododendron trees. After some minutes of trek, we will enter the Gurung village offering you stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk. Stay overnight the tea house/lodges. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 08 | Drive back to Pokhara

    After breakfast, trek down to Birethati as the staircase paved with stone slabs, curving in and out of the village and then into terraced farms. From Birethanti, a half-an-hour's walk takes us to Naya Pul. The journey on foot comes to an end at Nayapul, we then drive to Pokhara. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 09 | Drive back to Kathmandu

    Breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the time for your personal purpose. One can visit to Thamel to enjoy the nightlife environment. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 10 | Departure

    Your journey comes to an end with MD Adventure Travel and Tours. Our office representative will drop to Tribhuwan International Airport before 3 hours as per the rules of the Nepal government for boarding.

Required Documents For Visa Processing

Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport of Nepal, under Department of Immigration has been facilitating tourists flying to Nepal by providing Visa on Arrival. The visa for Nepal can be obtained from Nepalese Diplomatic Mission, you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter into Nepal. Or, one can get 'On Arrival'. Tourist Visa 'On Arrival' is the only entry visa to Nepal. If you are visiting Nepal for the purposes other than Tourism (sightseeing, tour, travel, mountaineering, trekking, visiting friends and families), you should still get ' Tourist Visa' to get into the country.  However, you must change the category of visa as per your purpose and length of stay in Nepal from Department of Immigration by producing required documents.
