Trip Introduction

Helicopter Tour is the easiest and fastest way to explore the Gosainkunda lake in  Langtang National Park, located at an altitude of 4,380 m (14,370 ft) in  Rasuwa District. The lake melts down to form Trisuli River and remain frozen for six months from October to June. The area have 108 lakes including small to medium in size.  Hindu mythology attributes Gosaikunda as the abode of the Hindu deities Shiva and Gauri. The water is considered as holy water by Lord Shiva when he thrust his Trishul (holy Trident) into a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his stinging throat after he had swallowed poison. The altitude sickness is a concern as the ascent.

The tour last for 2 hours driving from airport to Gosainkunda. You will be given 30 minutes of ground time at Gosiankunda lake to capture your lifetime memory. You will view the Langtang Himalayas and also the opportunity to take a holy bath. After spending some memorable time, we will fly back to Kathmandu.
